It's not so much about the KIND of stadium that should've been built, but WHERE the stadium should've been built. If one of the options was to literally pick up and move the (soon to be) old Giants Stadium to the West Side or somewhere in Flushing with the name "Jets Stadium" on it, I would've happily taken it.

Let the Giants keep the new stadium in Jersey if they want.

The real culprit in all of this is Sheldon Silver. That greedy piece of shit decided that he wasn't going to let the Westside stadium happen so that he could instead use the money to bolster the already bloated businesses down in his home neighborhood of Wall Street and supposedly solidify NYC's position as financial capitol of the world. Hey, good move jerkoff, that sure worked out well.

    We couldn't

We couldn't build that monster here, as many others pointed out.

What we SHOULD have is a stadium that offers some "cool-ness" to its fans, as far as the scoreboards go and inside areas that are not "clubs", and one where even the last row of seats is not half-way to heaven. We also deserve a stadium where a good amount of seats are sheltered from rain, if not a retractable dome. Why not a sports bar environment inside that is not a "club"?

I wasn't a big dome proponent, but even if it's 20 degrees with wind, we deserve a chance to stay dry. This is what irks me the most regardless of what we are paying in PSL's, tickets prices, etc. There should be some type of roof even it only extends over 30% of the seats.

    C*cksuckers.

It's not the new Giants Stadium. This stadium is 50/50. We aren't second class citizens anymore.

How much better can the Cowboys' stadium be than our new one? Ours is top of the line as well.

jake have you looked at the pictures of both stadiums? if you really think that they are comparable i am sorry for you.

while i would rather keep playing in the current stadium and really dont give a shit about anything but having a seat if you are going to spend as much as we did you could have at least done something fucking right. there really is nothing thus far that i have heard about for the average fan to want or enjoy or even give a shit about.

No, when I posted earlier I hadn't looked at the pictures. I recently did and realize the differences lol. Our new stadium isn't a piece of shit or anything though.... I just want to get the fuck out of "Giants Stadium". The new barn will be called "New Meadowlands" and that to me is way fucking better than playing in gayass Giants Stadium.

yeah its a completely different level. thats the scary part. i almost feel ashamed that we built this thing for just about as much as they did and we had 2 groups and came out so much shorter than they did.
