I see Rex making his usual "we are going to win the SB" speech, we end up going 8-8, Rex gets the boot. Woody wants someone who has a more disciplined approach to HC as well as success goes and hires John Gruden.

The same as they have been doing since 69', suffering from the "joe willy curse" ... giving their fans ulcers & agita until the day that curse is broken.

This team was 8-5 and on their way to a WC when they suffered a mini-stroke. I think it was an aberration. However, I think the major concern should be Sanchez going forward. He did not improve, and in the final three games he got much worse. So if he rights himself they are back in the WC hunt. I just do not feel like they can wild card their way to a SB.

We will be looking at Mock Drafts this time next year to see what QB we will be selecting with the tenth pick in the draft. Unfortunately we will be just good enough not to get the best one available as usual.

7-9 next year as there are too many holes to fill and not enough drafts or FA cash to deal with them all in a single offseason. I'm thinking in 2012, the Jets will be watching the SB, not playing in it.

Anyone who thinks the Jets are a 10 win team next year is smoking something. Sanchez will continue to regress and the Jets are a 6-8 win team again. By this time next year we'll be talking about getting Cowher out of retirement and trading for Matt Flynn or something.

Only problem is that with everything going wrong, this team won 8 games. Not sure how we are a 6-8 win team with an easier schedule next year.

Even with Sanchez, who cant possibly be as bad again next year, this team is winning 10 games. If there was a Vegas betting pool with the Jets at 9.5 wins next year, I would put at least 500 on that right now, I am that confident. And that is with the holes this team has, and Mark Sanchez as the qb.

I literally do not see a scenario where this team does not win 8 games next year, and a very small scenario where it only win 8 or 9.

Funny, Flynn is being considered by Miami.

Have you been watching Mark Sanchez this past season??????? Your better off hitting the craps table if you make it to Vegas.

I hate Sanchez the qb as much as anyone on here. And for me to say that I think they are winning at least 10 games with Sanchez should be very telling.

Again, this year, when everything that could have gone wrong the Jets finished 8-8 tells you that this team is not winning less than 10 next year.

The book is out on Sanchez now bro. Blitz and pressure him and he will fold like a deck of cards. That Running game Rex wants will be looking at 8 man fronts daring Mark to throw. It gets worse next year.

Trust me, I know. Any defensive coordinator that doesn't call blitzes against Sanchez while dropping 5/6 into zone coverage is clueless. Any good coordinator should be able to come up with a gameplan which leads to Sanchez taking 4/5 sacks and throwing 2/3 picks, assuming he has the personnel to do it. And that adversely effects the line and running game. But, I am under the assumption that at worst Sanchez is getting a guy who is replacing him after he throws his 3rd pick in one of the first 3 games of the season.

There are 5 possibilities here as far as I see them:

    1. Manning is the QB and Sanchez is a bench-warmer somewhere else.
    2. Someone else is the QB and Sanchez is a bench-warner somewhere else.
    3. Sanchez gets competition and loses his job and 2012 is his last as a Jet.
    4. Sanchez gets competition and loses his job at some point in 2012 when he inevitably plays like crap.
    5. Sanchez gets competition, wins it, keeps his job, wins games and proves he is a franchise qb.

Right now, I think the chances of those are 40%, 10%, 10%, 30%, 10%. However, in terms of wins, I think this team is winning 13, 11, 10, 10, 12, under those scenarios.

And then we wait 4 years for a SB and then 6 years after that until he gets fired.

I'm sorry but why does every idiot want Gruden or Cowher?

One took 4 years, then never won another one again, the other didn't win one for 13 years.

But Rex should get fired at year 3?

Milcus is a Sanchez hater - I can def vouch for that.

I'm totally on board with bringing Cowher in as the head coach. However, will you guys be ready to give him 13 years to win a Suberbowl when you haven't even given Rex 5? Asks yourselves that question.

Sanchez did not regress this year. His stats improved while the team around him regressed.

I don't need a SB right away, I would like a coach who doesn't video tape his wife getting her feet licked and sniffed by black dudes (or any dudes I'm not racist). Also a coach who doesn't run his mouth incessantly and not back it up and lose the locker room in the process. Just a coach who brings long term stability and respect to this organization, drafts well and has a team ready to play every Sunday. That's all I'm asking for here.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Seriously, though...the Mark needs a Deep Threat. If it won't be Braylon, it's got to be a FA out there somewhere....
