Coples was predicted to go top 10 all over the place. I don't know why some of you act like this was some reach.
It's not wasting a pick on a WR when you literally have one of the worst receiving corps in the league, and a terrible offense overall. With a mentality like that, it's no wonder why we have very little on offense. If you feel that way, then we shouldn't hear any complaints from you about the offense during the season.
Some articles are saying next year's draft could have more safeties. If it's true, then it might be better to bite the bullet with a one-year rental and look for long-term solution next season draft. OLB ... I'm hoping it gets addressed in day 2 of the draft. Some nice OL & front seven players didn't get picked last night which helps out Jets today.
If you look at our receiving group, we just need a bonafide number 2 receiver. I would prefer if we signed a veteran like Braylon Edwards. We have a good number 1, a good slot guy, and three guys with potential.
We need a bona fide #1 receiver, we already have a #2 receiver in Holmes. I'd love to bring back Edwards, but he's not a #1 either. Who is this good #1 you speak of?
