How is he not blameless? What action did he take that he shouldn't in the future in order to be more careful? What did he do that didn't help things? If this report is accurate, it's clear that he did nothing wrong, and the police shouldn't have been called. Short of never getting on an airplane, I'm not sure what else he is supposed to do to avoid the chance of something like this happening again.
Santonio was in trouble with the law before coming to New York. Fans are cynical and think that it's just a matter of time for him to get kicked out of the league permanently. A completely overblown and inaccurate report comes out of Pittsburgh that makes it look like Holmes is a complete asshole and has no idea of how to act. Cynical fans explode.
You guys are caught in the hero worship. A year from now, former Steeler Santonio Holmes will refuse to turn off his iPod on another plane. Then you'll realize how foolish you were for buying in to his side of the story.
I wanted to pass something along for you to have fun editing... Good luck with Santonio. You guys are stacked now as long as there's no sophomore slump for Sanchez. I think he'll be missed here. Especially since Sweed might be out for the year with an Achilles injury. Although we might be better with him and his horrible hands on the bench.
