The guy I would love the to get and would trade a 3rd or 4th round pick for is Delaney Walker. Not sure if he would be available. Or maybe for a player.
doubt Lions keep 4 TEs guessing Fauria is odd man out. He isn't anything special at all but has some experience and is a big target
Please let me know when it starts happening. And when I say "it" I mean Pryor playing well, the mere idea of him hitting players and hurting them for no other reason than he lacks the skill to play well is never going to be impressive. He'd just be the failure that is Roy Williams (SS).
Every team needs an enforcer over the middle, and since Demarios Davis whiffs it will have to be Pryor
We were desperate for improvement at that position before Amaro went down, now its a downright code red.
Ya its not like we will be able to get someone that is going to improve the position that much at this point tho
Unless it's through a trade but I'm not sure who would be available and who is expendable on our roster. Dallas comes to mind in that they need DB help and we have a bunch of depth now but I'm not sure who's on their roster at TE that would be worthwhile. With RF at QB we aren't going to throw a lot of deep balls so the TE position IMO becomes that much more important as a safety valve for the dink & dunk I see us running.
I don't think Amaro is going to be much of a loss. Kerley will get most of his snaps now and that's a break-even situation. The guy who is going to really benefit from this is Bohanon. The odds on him getting cut just went way down.
Nothing w/ Amaro seemed quite right this offseason. The strange "H-back" label w/ no H-back plays ever being called,Gailey saying "He's an H-back. There's no spot for an H-back on the depth chart"; I have a feeling he got into Bowles dog house some time early...maybe even for the back & fourth w/ Rex. I don't think he honestly affected the tight end position either way. It was clear Bowles/Gailey were not gonna let him play the position. He was either gonna get cut or they were gonna build a role for him..perhaps similar to what Enunwa is doing now but less blocking. The Jets may honestly be satisfied w/ what they have a TE. It's not a big producer in this offense & is more for blocking. Kellen Davis is an adequate blocker & if a receptions are truly needed Cumberland really isn't as horrible as many on here depict. He's an adequate #2 Tight end that is well respected league wide for his ability up the seam. I hope they take a closer look at newly acquired ex-Dolphin Arthur Lynch. He might've been the best blocking TE in his draft class which was only 2 years ago.He might be the answer to all of this.
Thanks. Just looked it up. A sprain is a stretch or tear. Did not know that it could be a tear. A low grade sprain is a stretch. That's what I was thinking.
lol yeah.. That's all roy was... a guy to put fear in players heart when he's in their area.. i think that's what pryor will be.. As long as bowles runs that 3 safety set he did last year we won't have to worry about him giving up big plays down field...maybe some clutch first downs though.
I anticipated you being a total douchbag in any thread that Jets fans would be having hope in. Please bring some Kleenex the next time you want to ejaculate.
