https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/does-marijuana-use-affect-driving It does have a bit of a mixed message at the bottom. Maybe some bedside reading before you take the car for a drive after a joint or 3
Yup, because they are incapable of lifting their stoned arms up to do it lol Like I have previously said I have smoked dope in the past, lots of it, I have been an alcoholic also but the thing is about not doing so when you are a damned pro athlete and also driving your bloody car about stoned. It is dumb as fuck, just like driving your car pissed or high as a kite on any other drug for that matter.
I disagree 100%. There is a huge difference and they should not be treated equally. If somebody wasted out of their mind gets punished the same as somebody who is simply baked, something is majorly wrong with the system. Alcohol is a much bigger factor in car fatalities, it is FAR WORSE when it comes to HOW impaired somebody is. Also some people need herb to function normally and drive better while high. Just saying. It's easy to lump it all together as DUI and call it evil, but it's way more complex than that. Marijuana affects various individuals differently, while with alcohol it is consistent. And I totally get you shouldn't be high as kite while driving, but being a little bit high is not a big deal. Some folks need that to function normally. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2722956/ Some good information on the 2. Times have really changed. When I was a kid, it was mandatory for my dad to have a couple beers with him during road trips. Today that is unheard of and somebody could be nailed to the wall for drinking while driving with kids in the car, even if they don't even have a buzz.
It’s because weed relaxes you. And I think we all agree that driving stoned is bad mmkay. I was responding to a post that was asking about the dangers of using it in general compared to other, legal and socially acceptable vices.
Your bias is evident. Alcohol does not effect everyone consistently, it may impart the same BAC by body mass but some people would be impaired after 2 beers while some can drink a 6 pack and barely have a buzz. Likewise some people smoke all the time so a couple of hits wouldn't be an issue while others a couple of hits may put them to sleep. If you are ok with someone a little high driving you should be ok with someone a little buzzed off a few beers driving.
Sure it's pretty harmless and the answer to your question is none; but you of all people pulling a Cheats move? My point is essentially about driving under the influence of weed and just how 'high' you actually are on weed while driving. Would let your kids get in a car with a habitual recreational stoner even if they only took a couple of tokes? My guess is that the answer is no. This isn't a moralizing pissing contest about recreational use.
And I am okay with being buzzed, provided they are under the legal limit. For weed that is much harder to determine, so I disagree with zero tolerance. The study I quoted explained that alcohol affects ARE very much consistent across the board with motor function while weed is not. The only factor with alcohol is tolerance. This is why I think weed needs its own separate scale for law enforcement. I'm not saying people should go out driving while extremely high, but last I checked alcohol is not prescribed to help people with medical problems like PTSD, so there will be high people on the road, the question is, how much is too much?
True stoners don’t fight. True stoners are too amazed by the amount of uses for an empty Pringle’s can to think of anything violent.
Fucking Pringle’s, need the can empty so you can smoke out of it and then you need it full of chips because you got the munchies.
