Vastly overrated? Yes. Would have done no better today behind our line? Blair Thomas would have done better behind this line than Blaylock.

No, Thomas would have fumbled. Blaylock doesn't fumble.

How long does the man love continue with Jordan?

why are people argueing over a rb that left our team 3 years ago...and for those that say he isnt any good...well why dont u take a look at his #'s last year and then get back to me. ya i know he rushed for 20 yards last nite but the Raiders Oline SUCKS hard ass. if i team lets up 7 sacks u cant expect their RB to do well.

and who sed he "doesnt have the body for RB and should be a FB" cuz thats rediculous

Any running back on this team, including BJ Askew would have run better than Blaylock. I will take 100 yards rushing on 10 carries and two fumbles over 20 yards rushing on 10 carries and no fumbles!

Mmmm, Ponderosa brings back some memories as a kid my mom dragging me out to the steakhouse. See, that is what is wrong with the world nowadays, no more Ponderosa's. Now we have Chilli's and Longhorns... and Applebees! And we all know what kind of violent Fight Club restaurant that is. :)

I'd have to know if those 100 yards came on any scoring drives. If all those yards came on drives that were ended by the two fumbles, then they are hollow.

(I do know it's just an example and I realize what you mean.)

No matter what way you cut it it wasn't a great performance by Blaylock on Sunday. However, I don't think it was as bad as most are making it out to be. Curtis Martin healthy and in his prime would not have had a big day on Sunday with the blocking performances of the linemen.

    1025 yards rushing, 3.8 average
70 receptions, 563 yards, 8.0 average (thrown to 103 times)
    16 dropped passes

    slightly better than average season

I don't know... I understand your side of this but I think it really was that awful. 2 YPC is very pedestrian... downright disgusting. If the Jets had lost, then outside of Nugent, Blaylock would be the number one culprit. Every play he ran right into the oline, was running backwards most of the time, and taking only whatever the oline was able to push forward... whereas Barlow would run forward and hit the holes, even if they weren't very big... he looked like he was at least trying to make something out of nothing. Blaylock looked tentative and scared.
