i remember after part one all i heard was that cincy didn't put in a real gameplan for that week and never really had any intention of winning. in an odd twist the jets came out with the same gameplan two weeks in a row and stomped the bengals both times.
A team that was one quarter away from the Superbowl with a rookie QB and head coach, along with a bunch of injured defensive starters and a hurting RB that carried us through the playoffs did NOT choke. Get over it, your team went nowhere and is going nowhere. You can sweep us all you want, we won't care, the team won't care, because we win the meaningful games. You lose them.

Whats a Fru Ad? Why does everyone go back to Cincy and Indy letting the Jets in? Ok - maybe Indy laid down but the jets still won. Any you can't say shit about the Cincy game cause the Jets leveled that team 2 weeks in a row. In the Playoffs on their turf. SD lost to us straight up. If you claim the Jets won cause of a bad FG kicker, then you have to say the same about Indy the following week when Feely missed 3 kicks. You can't have a double standard. If the Jets backed into the playoff then Miami backed out!
hey i agree, Miami laid an egg. im not denying that. with our leading rusher out, starting middle linebacker out. and other key players on both offense and defense out the last few games..... yes we did lay an egg. no denying that, but thats not the point.

The Jets lost in the AFCCG without their top runningback in the playoffs, with their stat compiler Thomas Jones injured, without their third RB or their Pro Bowl nose tackle, without 2 of their top 3 cornerbacks, with a rookie QB and a rookie HC... ...and they choked?
