I don't know. I think he could go to Kansas City and be welcomed with open arms :)

I don't understand this comment. Do you think that Baker will refuse to play if the Jets don't pay him more? If he does, he has to pay back the $1 million advance they gave him, and doesn't get the $650,000 he would normally get. I don't see it. Maybe Franks and Keller will suck - and if that happens, Baker will still be here.

You responded to my previous post, but I don't think you understood. They DID NOT give Coles what he wanted. Coles wanted a pay increase and an extension. All they did was fully gaurantee is contract, including his base salary. It was what they were going to pay him anyway. If anything Coles gave into the FO.

Honestly, what about this is so hard for you to understand?

EXACTLY - What happened is that Coles didn't understand NFL contracts - What he wanted was MORE years - but, it was explained to him that YEARS are not guaranteed and mean nothing - ALL that mattered all along was the GUARANTEED money the Jets offered him all along!!!!! Thank You Jets!!!

He realized the Jets deal was GREAT and took it....

There really was no controversy here.

And to me Kendall was a jerkoff trying to extort money from the Jets just 1 year after signing a brand new deal.....

Baker is even worse - In Reality and in comparison to ALL the Huge contract issues all over the NFL.....

Funny How PFT and some media outlets act as if the Jets have contract and FO issues..

To me, I just don't see it.... Not for these 3 guys... Not when you see stuff like Plax, Chad Johnson, another Pat player every year - It's all over the league - The Jets to me are WELL below the league average for sontract problems.....

If that was a possibility he would have been there already IMO. Chicago as well. He is a huge risk average reward player. No upside. Broken hand, two shoulder rips, ankle, propensity to throw the game away. His injuries are climbing up to a Joe Namath level. Is that even possible?

Agreed. Also, last year was the first time in 11 seasons that Tannenbaum didn't have his #1 pick signed and in camp on the first day.

I think we should make Chris Baker dress like Tinkerbell walking up and down the line and throwing fairy dust in Bill Belichick's direction whenever he looks at the Jets sideline. And then he should have to get a wedgie from Kris Jenkins.

I'm not so sure this is true.

The Jets did win this round, but Coles is just one of those players that loves to bitch. He'll cause some kind of problem next off season.
