The beauty of this is that there are multiple real-time benefits of doing so: A- Guys presently plating ain’t cutt’n it B- Developing young guys is always popular C- If he does this and guys play well, looks good for him. C scares me. Let’s face it, NYJ ain’t goin nowhere this year, but if Darnold comes back and finishes strong+ a bunch of these rookies play well...? I am worried we’ll hear the narrative of “he kept them together, and once he had talent, he cultivated it-I was right all along” Chris Johnson.
Chuma has been dreadful whenever he gets an opportunity. If we can’t turn him into a Guard, he’s worthless on this team. They signed 3 new guys via FA. I highly doubt they are going to get benched when healthy since this will fall back and make JD look bad. This line isn’t good as a unit by any means but they are still improved from the disaster of 2019.

Becton appears to be out today. Give him another week to rest his shoulder. No rush. We re not going anywhere. Get him fully healthy.
