Ummm.... Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Roddy White, Randy Moss x2, Terrell Owens x 2, OchoCinco, Antonio Bryant, Steve Smith. Nah.... none of those guys are as good as Vincent Jackson.

Reading through that thread made me start thinking we are about to play the 80s 49ers team. Thankfully in reality we are going to be playing the 2010 Chargers who are a very good team but not a great team. A team with a coaching liability, not a dominant home field advantage and a history of disappointing in the playoffs. Chargers rightfully will be healthy favorites but I really like our chances.
And you assume the Jets haven't stepped up their running game? Shonn Greene is coming into his own and is ready to take over the league. Be prepared to have nightmares of Greene destroying your defense. San Diego delenda est.

I am over there right now, they just aren't a very intelligent bunch at all. They seem to think it's relevant to bring up our last regular season meeting which was a completely different Jets team, coaches and all. Are they that dumb? Yes they are. I welcome their over confidence. When a mean, nasty, battle hardened jets team shows up and punches their flashy team in the face, they can go home and cry into their shitty fish taco's.
I do agree with their assesment of Floyd. His height is a huge mismatch on sheppard. We will need to double him with Rhodes.

Right, we Charger fans need to come here to be taught what humility looks like. In fairness, the Chargers ARE the team that earned a first round by 13-3 record - that was gained by sweeping the NFC East. And the Jets were the team that went 7-7 till they ran into a couple of teams with nothing to play for. Oh, and you have a rookie QB. I think we Charger fans have at least some right to feel good about our chances. Don't you?
