Let him thrown the fucking ball, one time. It will scare the shit out of the defense and make them respect the pass. They will key on the run next game if we keep running that formation with BS as the QB.

Brad Smth has finally found a role on this team. If only he could be a slot WR this team would really be set.

Too bad he is the exact opposite of a slot :p! Slots should be able to run crisp routes and hav extremely reliable hands. They also need to be very quick and agile and that's why they aren't that tall.

    B. Smith runs bad routes, doesn't have reliable hands and is 6' 2"...

However he is a ST demon (tackler and return guy) and leads our wild-cat offense.

I think he has taken the return game and wild-cat game away from Leon after this year... and deservedly so.

He is a superb athlete. Thought Shotty did a good job utilizing him tonight. Agree that if he can pass effectively he should be able to move the ball from the cat.

Schotty has used Smith like this before, but it didnt work. OK, today it did. Now Smith is wonderful and Schotty is a genius again.

Just sayin.... but what I do like is that it gives Cincy a whole lot more to think about next week. Almost like a set up. I like it.

It's coming at some point, maybe next week? It was smart not to do it last night when we play Cincy again next week.

Yeah, it was great watching Brad make those plays. Just when the Jets need to do something to take the opponent's D out of their pass rush on "obvious" passing downs, he can shake things up.

He's a special performer who unfortunately is not as effective in the whole range of diverse approaches he initially promised. But maybe it just took this long for him to both grow into his best roles and for the CS to figure out what those roles were and when to go to him, but he certainly helped a great deal last night. As a fan I have to remember this - you can't always say a given player is either great or a bum. Sometimes patience is called for, and the CS has to do some real coaching and figure out what is the best thing to do.
