Yeah I like this more the more I think about it. Sauce is still elite but we have bigger needs and two firsts is a great haul. We're much better set up to draft a QB now.

Wow that is a blockbuster like JD’s trade of Jamal Adams Honestly I’m not super happy about this trade as I just think you never get better by trading away great players, and tackling issues or not, Sauce is one of the best CBs in the league in coverage and along with Q is one of our best defensive guys. I think these idiots got excited when we won without him and figured they could keep that going, but this is not a good trade…our defense sucks already…we just made it worse. Hard to get TOO upset at the return, but still…it’s fucking easy to do the “TEAR DOWN” part of it…it’s much harder to do the “REBUILD” part of it. We are now hoping that Mougey can use those picks to do better than an All Pro CB…premium position, and a top player at it who we can put up against the opponent’s WR1 every week. Ugh…here we go again… Sorry to be a downer but we have so precious few good draft picks, and for some reason this team always finds a way to get rid of the few good picks we make and then we wonder why we continue to suck. Unbelievable to me. We always do this and we always get the same spin…same bullshit like “well we weren’t winning WITH him, so we can continue to lose WITHOUT him” or “two first round picks!! Too good to pass up!” It’s all bullshit…chances are those picks will not be All Pro’s, and then we wonder why we can’t fucking build a fucking team.

For TWO first round picks?!?!? ABSOLUTELY a good deal. Sauce Gardner may be one of the most overrated players ever to wear the Jets Uniform. He was a good player. He should NEVER be mentioned in the same sentence as Derelle Revis.

The Colts still play the Chiefs, 49ers, Seahawks, Jags 2x, Texans 2x and a weird game next week in Spain against the up and down Falcons. They’ve beaten the Dolphins, Titans(2x), Raiders, Cardinals, lucked out with a leverage call by the Broncos and to their credit beat the Chargers. Their schedule is brutal compared to what they’ve faced.
