Let them dream. It's June. It'll be hard enough for them come December. The biggest problem for the Bills is that they don't have a quarterback. The second biggest problem is that they only have one receiver. Then they have a defense that is better on paper that it will be on the field.

Doubtless they'll disagree, but like I said, it's June. This is when we all get to dream a little bit about the best case scenario.

I agree completely. Fitz was bad last year. We absolutely tear Sanchez a new one as Jets fans and he was still better than Fitz was last year but for some reason Bills fans act like their journeyman QB that signed a ridiculous contract is going to be a stud. Mario Williams is a great player but the Texans just made the playoffs for the first time ever last year. Bills are not a playoff team. I can't wait for the first game of the season

He was referring to the offensive line, and that's what I was referring to as well.

I was talking more specifically about the safeties. The Jets have better corners than the Bills, the Bills have better safeties.

I agree, something I've been saying in the other NFL threads for a while now.

We have a #1 in Stevie, and a great #3 slot guy in David Nelson, but I'm not seeing a #2 threat opposite Stevie.

Chan Gailey told us in the beginning of last year when he traded Lee Evans that part of the reason he did so was because Donald Jones was going to be special. We saw brief flashes from him over the first few games, and then he got injured and was out for the year. I really dont know what to expect from him. The Bills coaching staff and Fitzpatrick have a lot of confidence in him, but I am skeptical.

We drafted TJ Graham in the 3rd round. He's a guy labeled as a burner and playmaker, but a raw receiver. Some analysts have compared him to Mike Wallace when he came out of school. I think that is so far-fetched its beyond ridiculous, but what do I know. Apparently he's been "uncoverable" at OTA's, whatever that means. Every team has players like that at this time of year. Will he contribute? I find it highly unlikely, but I seem to be much more skeptical than most.

The bottom line is, the Bills are going to need to have a WR come out of the weeds and produce in order for this offense to be as successful as we need to make the playoffs. I'm not sure that's going to happen, but if anyone can make something out of nothing, its Chan Gailey.
