Agreed. That game will be a nice flashback to the 80s and 90s with their uniforms as well as our current old/new uniforms. Regardless of what these two teams do with their uniforms, nothing could look worse than that Thursday Night Color Rush game they played in several years ago.
The technology that existed back then compared to now plays a role too. All they could do in the early days of Hard Knocks was point and shoot. Now they have robotic cameras in every room that is controlled by someone in a secluded area, they have drones capable of flying through buildings, etc. Not saying that makes it better, but TV is a business and you don't get Emmys and TV deals by ignoring everything you have at your disposal. That being said I agree, it's different. I'm not interested anywhere near as much as I used to be. They don't focus on the young hopefuls, they make it really hard to get invested in anyone. But like I said, I'll watch because they are the gold standard in almost all things production and I work with a lot of those guys.
I don’t even get what these comments mean. So for a whole year the media should only talk about the team that won the Super Bowl and not the other good teams? It doesn’t even make sense lol
You are on a Jets forum. So we will belittle you until you exceed our biggest achievement. We have a Superbowl ring you don’t. Speak to us or laugh at us when your team exceeds our achievement. Peace
Brook… you can’t be serious LOL. Are you really touting a pre-merger “championship” (if you can even call it that) in a 10 team league when Martin Luther King was still alive as some great, holier than thou achievement? . Belittle me for being on an opposing forum, fine. But pretending the jets are on the high ground when in fact they are a bottom feeding franchise is an insult to all of our intelligence .
Dr King wasn’t alive he was killed in April of 68 before the season even started. Not to insult anyone’s intelligence
The NY Jets won the "World Professional Football Championship" - it says so right on the trophy. That trophy bears the seals of both the National Football League and the American Football League which totaled 26 teams. Your denial of the facts is pathetic. I showed you mine, now you show yours.
I can't imagine the elation one would feel having their team at the top of their conference for half a decade and losing 4 consecutive Super Bowls. Glory days and all that. Somehow the bottom-feeding Jets matched those Lombardis with ease.
Nah. It’s just you being a troll a little this time. Achievement is an achievement. Who cares about when it happened? Bills have never won a Superbowl and until that happens, you guys are beneath us. That’s just a fact.
I don’t think any observer besides a few jets fans would think the bills are beneath the jets, but ok lol.
I often wonder what would be worse, losing four Super Bowls in a row or choking away a playoff game with 13 seconds left and no timeouts? Or maybe the Hail Mary lateral on a kickoff return with no time left?
Actually, my bad. Dolphins have 2 Superbowls. Pats have 6. And Jets have 1. Until Bills win one, you are at the bottom of the AFC East from a trophy case perspective. Let me elaborate. Would you call a guy who won the lottery back in 1920 a lottery winner? Yes you would. How is this lottery winner different than a guy who won the lottery in 2025? Both are lucky guys both are lottery winners. Somebody who never won the lottery can not be called a lottery winner right? So you don't belong in the club yet.
