I think Kearly is going prove to be a very valuable part of our offense.
I see big things for the kid.

Kerley has the same skill-set as Holmes. It should make the transition much easier when Holmes leaves after this season with that shitty contract.

Btw I'm bummed out Josh Baker got cut, I thought he had a role on this team when he got healthy.

So what happened with the cap situation being a mess that no GM would touch the job? 4 releases and the Jets are under.

They can sign better scrubs for less money to fill the void if they want to.

They are only 7 million under with no starting Guards, no RT, only 3 WR, no starting TE No starting FS or SS, arguably no starter at 2 or 3 LB spots, and no backups at any of the D-Line positions.

The cap situation is still pretty screwed.

    We need at minimum:
    1 tackles, 2 guards, 1 WR, 1TE, 1FS, 1SS, 2OLB, 1ILB, 1DT, 1DE

Ducasse and Howard aren't great options but the rumor circling around twitter is the Jets will be very interested in Geoff Schwartz in free agency. I mentioned him in a mock offseason in the draft forum and I think he'd be a good fit and wouldn't break the bank.

A top 3 receiver core of Holmes, Kerley & Hill isn't outstanding, but it's a start.

Demorrio Davis will step in at ILB and the hope is Josh Bush and/or Antonio Allen is ready to step in at safety. The line has a Wilkerson and Coples as mainstays with guys like Ellis hopefully ready to step up. Mike Devito is an example of a player not highly touted that Rex was able to coach up.

The draft will be key but I don't think this team is as screwed as some do.

Question!!! Okay say we would of won the Superbowl last year or even Picture the Ravens of course the winners and them being over the Cap in Salary. Would them winning the Superbowl change the Cap Situation if they were over or is it merely bragging rights and hoisting the LombardI Trophy? Whats the benefits of winning the Superbowl besides the obvious. What underlining things take place?
