Anyone remember the guy from the uppers in the old stadium with the frying pan? Upper Endzone, he was always there. edit: then again, I was young it was probably a cowbell cant see them allowing a frying pan into the stadium, annoyed the shit out of me either way, as a kid it sounded like a frying pan tho.
If you ever come to a Devil Rays game you will need a lot of ammo. They have a game each year where they give out cow bells and during all the games they flash up on the scoreboard, "We need more cow bell". Of course the few times I have gone to games I am always near someone with a 5 year old that is ringing the fucking cow bell all game. And they wonder why they have such low attendance.
Lol how about we all use our cellphones and use the Mosquito Ringtone and blast that shit throughout the entire stadium... o wait Favres to old to hear it haha
Nothing will compare the '09 Pats game, simply because this stadium's so much more spread out. I'd say the opening night crowd was just as much into the game, if not, close, but the stadium itself just lets too much of the noise right out. Damn shame.
I think this game will be louder then last years Pats because the new place is with a doubt louder, its a night game and last year was about relieving years of frustration, this is about making a statement that we are for real. This is the best I have felt going into a home game in a long time
That's what I was going with too. Or is it that a lot of the hardcore fans have been priced out of the lower bowl?
It's possible some have moved. But LLEZ had the cheapest PSLs, so there are definitely some hard cores down there. My section (148) was making some good noise for both games, can't vouch for others. Could have been better, there are always some lazy PoS's who think they're at a Broadway show. Personally, I don't STFU and rarely sit down. My neighbors probably love me.
