Rex said "Everyone will get a shot at CB." Not just allen. That was for today.

Rex is trying out his players for corner. Ras I will get a starting chance, so will walls...I anticipate Jarrett will also get a shot at CB

LOL @ Rex: "there's no crisis, this is an opportunity."

Week 3 Monday night at home vs. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery should be fun

So you're saying you wanted Idzik to sign a FA CB for depth? Really?

Not if he plays the same as he did last season. Sooner or later teams have to move on from name recognition. Cromartie was one of the worst CB's in the league last season.

Now if he returns to pre 2013 form (unlikely IMO) then Arizona got a steal.

CRO is having an amazing camp. Make like 2 INTs in the practice before gameday, and had an INT in the game.

You totally evaded my question which was how do U know how hard Pryor will hit in the NFL since he has not yet played down 1 for us as well as already been concussed in TC?

It wouldn't be a different defense, though. Rex's schemes are very versatile.

For example, check out the New Orleans game last year. We saw a ton of Cover 2 out there, and Rex was still able to confuse the heck out of Brees and keep him from devastating us through the air as most (including me) expected. That was still a Rex Ryan defense.

I agree that Rex is best off when he has 2 good/great press corners, and if we had those then this could be a top-2 or 3 defense.. but we don't. So Rex will adapt, as he always has, and this will still be a great defense (though more like top-8.) That said, I do hope we can find some better solutions at corner.

    Wow...just....just wow.

Obviously you sign a FA CB to start, the added bonus is that in the event of an injury you now have increased depth. This really isn't rocket science, not sure why you are struggling with such a basic concept.

Where are you getting that they low balled him and that he wasn't interested in their price?

He's a vet; he's probably not interested in coming in anywhere until closer to the regular season so that he doesn't have to spend a day in camp.
