Can you please provide some evidence of this? All you Lphins fans like to flap your gums about this, but no one ever backs it up. It's what you guys want to believe.
Broadway, how dumb are you. There is no need to prove it, just look at all the money you dished out to players. favre? really? He will retire at the end of the season, mark my words. Jenkins? Fanaca? How long you expect them to be a Jet? Pace? He looks good imo, it was 1 game so we will see. Gholston? He has bust written all over him imo. Man do I love how Jet fans refuse to see salary cap hell written all over this team. As soon as Favre retires, you all will be in the same search for a QB the Fins have been on. German Jets Fan, I too am German, born in Frankfurt, but I don't know how you come to that conclusion.
If it's so obvious, just go get the projected numbers for the year you see us in cap hell and put them up here. It's so obvious, please just post it up. It's easy right? And who is saying he won't? I'd say we can get 3 solid years out of those guys. And last year doesn't count? OK. I agree - I mean he's played 1 NFL game, where are all the sacks? Nice deflection there. Our GM is an accounting wizard. Please provide evidence of how we'll be in salary cap hell or shut your trap. I can sit here and yell the Lphins will be in salary cap hell if I want too, does that make it true? True, but we have 2 young guys being groomed right now with some solid talent.
We'll worry about that when we see another preseason out of Brett Ratliff. As for the salary cap: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26603474/ The NFL opted out of the current collective-bargaining agreement in May, shaving the final two years off the deal. That makes next season the last with a salary cap and 2010 the final year of the deal. The league contends that the players won too much money in the 2006 renewal of the agreement. Players currently receive about 60 percent of the league?s revenue.
Are you really going to bring up John "butterfingers" Beck? What a waste of a second round pick he is...
Lowery is the real deal, I really believe that. Don't bring in some other guy and take Lowery out of the rotation, let him play the #2 CB and learn. The guy is very smart and is picking things up very quickly. I really think we are fine at #1 and #2 CB.
Not as dumb as the asshole who forgets no only will there be no cap in two years, but that the thing our GM is best know for is cap management. He took us from Bradway's cap hell to having enough space to have an off season like the one we just had.
