Is there a 5th QB on the roster we don't know about?

You can win games with JAG QBs if you have a smart OC, we just haven't had one for a decade and a half, so you forgot what one looks like.

Petty is not "God awful" and neither is Hack. Both may eventually prove to be that way, but they aren't now.

Cmon NC your being a curmudgeon, the Jets won today. I was joking around.

I'm on the Petty bandwagon and I want to see Petty starting for this team, I also want Fitz and Geno off this team.

Sign Hoyer to back up Petty next season and make Hack the 3rd QB.

I also want Kyle Shanahan to be the next HC of the Jets, I love the balanced approach he has been using as an OC.

Jets won today BUT, it was one of the uglier wins any of us have seen over the last several years. We were lucky we played a team that sucked worse than we do. By the end of the game, the D finally showed up. Gailey still ABSOLUTELY SUCKS

Our backup today was Powell. We're at the point where Hack may see the field this season. Can't count on Fitz, Petty is dinged, Geno is now dinged.

Gailey is running Forte into the ground

How many B Powell sightings were there?

Shovel passes galore, third and one we pass WTF??

I have been on C Gaileys bandwagon for months . Not sure how long that will last...sorry

Guy is old and predictable . He is average at best

In his defense, hes relatively a grade higher than the OCs we have had But that is not saying much

New blood needed Unless we are producing tons of points The Red Zone is where we bleed out

    jmho

How many motherfucking times are we going to line up in a spread formation and throw the ball on 3rd and fucking 1 this season? I swear to fucking God, we have set a new record for that particular form idiocy in the last 5 fucking games. Memo to Chan: Your quarterback is Ryan motherfucking Fitzpatrick, not Tom Brady.

TB has put together a terrible CS, and the results on the field reflect that.

Young talent wasted on both sides of the ball because other teams coaching staffs can out scheme the Jets.

Enunwa, Peake and Anderson are going to be wasted while the jets wait 10 years to get Hack and Petty ready for the NFL.

But we run the ball on first down every time, so that makes up for it right?

Whenever someone posts something like this, a list of plays called by an OC, it'd meaningless without also spelling out what the other team's defense was giving and what it was taking away. Every game is a cat and mouse game, a chess match, between OC and DC.

Every play called by Chan is called to take advantage of something that was set up the previous play or to set up something to come later in the drive. Almost NEVER can an OC just call plays willie-nille without regards to the other team's defensive game plan. Who's in, who's out, what sub-package your trying to catch the other defense in.....on and on.

Creating game plans and calling plays is very complicated and based on many many factors and inputs. So just giving a list of plays without telling us what the defense was in and what Chan was trying to accomplish or set up is pretty useless.

Chan Gailey has had Ryan Fitzpatrick as his QB for too many seasons. I feel bad for the guy.

Sorry, Red, didn't realize you were joking. I thought you liked Petty, but then thought you might have changed your mind or that I was wrong about your liking him. I don't think the other poster was joking. He certainly wasn't the first to say something like that, and with your comment following on the heels, I thought you were being serious.

I disagree. It doesn't matter why the OC decided on calling those plays, or how clever he thought he was being, when the play calling becomes obvious and predictable, then it helps the D because they know what's coming.

It's cool, there are so many comments flying around it's hard to figure out if someone is upset and serious or just being sarcastic.

I'm at the end of my rope with the QB situation, I want to see them give Petty the ball and start playing for the future.

I said this before though, I don't trust this CS.
