Unfortunately you're still living in the Rex Ryan era. There's a new sherrif in town.

And to be fair...We are #1 in red zone efficiency, so our guys know what to do down there. Just not tonight...

Its getting there thats actually been the problem all season. They go stretches without any effective offense then get some points in a hurry off TO or something and we all forget how they have struggled at times.

Can we take a step back a moment for fuck sakes and analyze where we are now opposed to the offenses we've seen for the past 6 years?

They are night and day, I do not recall Rex ever getting an offense to play this well for him, ever.

With Rex, if we were down 22-3, there was no chance we were coming back to potentially win the game.

We rank much higher in offense then any team I've ever seen RR trot on the field.

We showed tonight, even with all the mistakes we made, we can still fight our way back, we can still be a scary team go play even when down three scores.

Stop harping on all the negative, look at the positives man.

Hell, after Ivory fumbled, he finally looked like his old self.

Yes we lost but we are a team that is showing that we haven't hit our ceiling yet, we are a team that will only get better as the season progresses, and we will hopefully have some of our key players back and healthy.

Chan Gailey called a poor game, agreed. Overall, his production from these players has been much improved over years past.

    Stay positive boys.

Dude. who gives a shit who is in town. It's 3rd and 3.. Two downs to go for it. How the hell do you not hand it off in 3rd down when you know you are going for it!!! Ivory was running hard the entire 4th Q.

What a disgraceful game plan from the OC

I don't think Chan's play calling was terrible i think the players decision making and execution was bad. Chan Gailey put the players in position to win. Chan Gailey didn't drop a bunch of drive ending passes...marshall did. Decker dropped the critical 4th down.. Kellen Davis didn't look up.. guess that's chans fault. O-line broke down on what i thought were smart screen passes.. Chan also made sure he told Thompkins to never run a route past the 1st down line too huh. yup. Everything the player does wrong he gets a pass lets just attack poor old chan gailey that has us in the top end of the offensive rankings for the first time in lord knows how long.

If you ask me Bowles should've have elected to take some field goals ! but blame chan for that.

Bowles should have never hired Gailey in the first place. When the game came down to several plays, Gailey DID NOT put anybody in position to win. Running pass plays 2 yds in front of the 1st down in the red zone? Yeah.. Bowles absolutely should take the blame for that. Along with starting the game off with bombs to Marshall even though Marshall is banged up. Yep, that's on Bowles too.

I agree with half of what you said. The ball decker dropped was a high % play and needs to be caught. We were in the position to be successful right there, we just didn't make the play. I would have ran it twice on that series of 3 and 2 followed by 4th and 2.

The other half, I agree with 100%. RedZone should be named Chris Ivory zone. Pound the damn football. Don't get cute. Man up and beat the guy in front of you !

You gotta run it with Ivory there at the end. Even after he got stopped cold on the play after his 8 yard pickup on 1st down. Odds are in the Jets favor there that they pickup the 2 or 3 yards needed for a 1st down and get a new sets of downs inside of 3 minutes to play. Golden oppty at the end of that game that they need to capitalize on.
