Players and teams that cannot just say we got beat are losers and San Diego has a history of this sort of foolishness. I hate to say it but in the past Tomlison, when he was a star, engaged in this kind of behavior often. Now? Not so much. Maybe its the air out there? At any rate, the JETS beat these guys straight up and yet, San Diego players are yapping.
Whatever. We got absolutely screwed by the refs during the Baltimore game, so it was about time we got a few calls our way.
Every time we beat them they bitch and moan about it. They always seem to fold before the gun sounds in the 4th. That's why they're the Lords of NoRings. At least we have One..
Who is Randy McMichael? STFU or go cry to your momma. You're not even a has been - You're a never was.
The Chargers were lucky that game wasnt a blowout. We handed them 7 free points. We threw a pick in the endzone. Yet even when they were up 21-10 we all felt like we were dominating them, but just not on the scoreboard. In the end though the better team won.
Yes, the Chargers have always taken defeat poorly. I think that sort of cognitive dissonance is one of the reasons they haven't been more successful. It reflects poorly on their coaching staff who should be beating on the idea that these games are due to inadequacies in their own play which must be improved for the team to win a championship.
It's Philip Rivers. I've never seen him just walk off the field after an interception. He's always in a ref's face afterwards.
CHARGERS are feeling "salty." You can tell from the get go that they were not going to stop Greene in the backfield and Keller and Holmes on the field. That game in my opinion should not have been as close as it was. It always felt as if the Jets were the better team from the beginning.
Anyone else read Rivers' lips as he walked over to Norv on the last play of the game? It was something like "what down was it?" I don't think he knew it was 4th down.
Yeah when the Chargers scored a TD on 3 straight possessions my first thought was how dominating the Jets were........GTFO
Wow. This guy's delusion is ugly. We absolutely TRIED to hand this game to them at the beginning. The Chargers did not beat themselves, we gave them all of the help in the world. Just to name a few things? - Dustin's "fumble/turnover" that turned in to a TD for them. (7 pts) - Mark and Tone's amazing TD (called back/nullified on a Mangold penalty). (7 pts) - Mark's interception-- the subsequent events led to a Chargers TD. (7 pts) - Brandon Moore's penalty that absolutely killed what looked like it was going to be a TD drive. A 14 point swing, EASILY, can be argued, just based on Dustin and Tone's plays. We were in our own way. The Chargers absolutely would not have been in the game, had we not been a penalty machine, and had we gotten out of our own way with some of the mistakes/turnovers. Maybe that guy will see things a little clearer after he watches the film.
Exactly. They were beaten soundly and they chose to follow their coach by taking the low road instead of demonstrating good sportsmanship and class. They are a perenniel loser because they are used to choking and whining and blaming the refs and each other etc - Loser Mentality.
Revis baited Rivers in the INT throw and just had good positioning. Would have been a tough catch maybe drop after he laid off. The WR was going to get sandwiched. and Wilson closed in HARD to pick off the pass to VJ. So the play where he got wide open wasn't the Jets fault? Credit to him for beating the secondary! /sarcasm
Didn't McMichael throw a pregnant woman out of a moving car or down a flight of stairs? Their offense only scored twice.
Also, that stupid holding call on Mangold negated a TD on a drive that ended with a Sanchez interception. Shit goes both ways.
What game were you watching? Their was the Keller fumble td then we got a 3 and out their next possession.
Then they really got screwed by the refs when you add the defensive TD, they should have had 28 points... FTR, SD drives: Punt TD TD Half Punt Punt Punt Int Int Downs
Credit and an EZ Pass will get you through the Lincoln Tunnel, we got the win, that's what we needed. I thought the refs were bad for both teams. At the game we were saying both teams should just keep throwing towards the ref on the far (Jets) sideline. That was the guy who ended up making the call on Jammer.
