I disagree. Yes the Patriots were illegally taping. That has never been contested. They broke the rules. But to say that because they broke the rules, they were cheating, is the same thing as saying all rule breakers cheat. If a team is given a penalty for having 12 men on the field, is it cheating, or breaking a rule? I know every Patriot hater loves to instantly point fingers and draw their own conclusions. It's human nature to find fault in others who may be more successful, and to point out inadequacies to make the finger pointers feel better. The Patriots paid dearly for the taping "scandal". And then after all that, we hear from former coaches saying ALL teams do it. I'm not a fan of "pink Hats" and bandwagoners. I haven't seen any polls regarding whether NY has more diehard fans than Boston. Who knows? It pisses me off to hear so called Patriot fans throwing Brady and others under the bus. I don't look at them as real fans. I wouldn't trade Brady for any other QB. And yes, sports is a live in the moment type of establishment, but history plays a big part. The Yankees championships make them who they are and why we Red Sox fans hate them. Losing sucks and no one wants their team to lose. The Patriots best years may be behind them, or maybe they aren't. No team will ever remain on top for long. Personally, I could care less that Jets fans hate the Patriots and are laughing at the SB loss. Honestly, I would laugh if it were the Jets who lost. I can live with the Patriots haters. But the whole spygate thing really is getting old. Just saying.
Not only laughing at the Pats, but at pathetic Pat fans who post on a Jets board after a Pats SB loss
And yet you respond to my post. Who else are you going to argue with? You're all just preaching to the choir without us coming here and stirring things up a little. All in good fun my friend.
NY has more diehards in part because they have more people. MSG is the best place to go to check this out. That arena for either hockey or basketball is intense even if the team is 0-81 it will fill up and go crazy at every little play. People should be criticizing Brady, but they should not want him gone. He almost cost you the Ravens game and then basically cost you the Super Bowl. He is expected to play better as he is the player that makes your team go, and he didn't. McCourty also should take some blame because he regressed so much that you guys had to play him at safety at times. All of a sudden he became a "zone" corner, then a safety. Not supposed to happen. The thing with spygate is that most people know it probably doesn't make a difference, but it''s a coincidence that is going to stay until Bill and Brady win one post-spygate. As I said to either you or some other Pats fan, it doesn't help that Brady has played subpar in most of his playoff games after spygate too. It's kinda like how Red Sox fans blamed the curse of Bambino for 86 years. I don't think anyone seriously believed in it, same as spygate, but it's a funny coincidence that people will bring up when the Red Sox, now Pats, lose.
If this is your idea of fun, you need to get a life "my friend" But thanks for giving us opportunities to dump on you
