Bottom line is that Sunday a Patriots win helps us more than a Bills win. So root for Buffalo to lose. Nobody is asking you to pull out flying elvi pom poms, just root for what's in the immediate best interest of the Jets

Who do you think Pats fans were rooting for the final week of the 2008 season? The Dolphins?

If it were the final week of the season and mathematically it was required for the Pats to win for us to make the playoffs, then I might agree.

But the Bills suck moose cock, we gave them that game on a silver platter and by week 16 they are going to be 2-3 full games behind us and a win by them this week won't matter.

I hope the Bills crush the Pats this week.

Fuck the Pats and Bills - the only team I will be rooting for is the Jets. We need this win and shouldn't assume that it will be an easy victory. If we don't take care of our business, nothing else matters.

    That's billboard material right there.

I'm not afraid of the Bills, if we can't knock them off the last week we don't deserve to make the playoffs. And I'm not even sure that game is going to matter.

Couldn't have said it better. I hope Rex makes Brady feel old on MNF.

If Rex beats the Pats this week you know he shot his load and will win only one or 2 more the rest of the season, because Rex.

It's a push. Buffalo loss helps in the playoff picture, our chance of making a deep run are marginal so "eh" on that. Bonus is seeing Rex act like a fruit post game. Ideal situation is a complete and utter face punch blowout. On the other hand Rex figures up something that kicks Tom Brady's ass thus ending the Pats run at a perfect record. Doesn't help us but who doesn't enjoy Tom Brady getting his jimmies rustled and sulking on the sidelines.

Is there really any choice right now?

Of course if the Jets lose Sunday I may then turn around and root for Rex on MNF cause the Jets ain't making the playoffs anyway if they have another bad performance after a month of bad performances.

Patriots win...Brady and Gronk out for the season with a foot or something similar (not wishing it just saying) would be ideal

If jets win im rooting for bills but if we lose and I still care Monday night I guess we need a bills loss

I think most of us believe that Rex would like that as well.

Saw that little "fall in to a tie with the Jets at 12-4." It could happen.

Yup I know. Penciling in the Jets at 12-4 is more preposterous than the Pats ending at 12-4. If the Pats didn't just lose their best RB/KR/WR I'd root for the Bills to lose, helping our chances at the WC.

Pats are a pass first team (they didn't even try to run against the Jets) and they just lost their best WR. Suddenly they are vulnerable.

The only caveat is Eldemen has been so effective that the Gronk has been a non-factor this season. I can see Belicheck throwing to the Gronk 30 times a game now.
