The difference is everything out of Rex's mouth other then winning the SB was true... the fact that Smith even thought he won against Edwards says he should go back and watch teh tape of Edwards one handed TD on him and how he carried him into the EZ. The again Smith went the U of Utah so I know he didn't recieve a great education.

I see that this is going to be the new banner you carry around with you. The Jets will talk some trash, get used to it. I'm not complaining about other teams talking trash either, I think it adds a lot to the rivalries. As far as Smith saying he won the battles with Edwards, I don't see it. It's on par with Moss trying to play off Revis after he got shut down in the first matchup. If Smith was saying that he was going to win the battle against Edwards in 2010, I wouldn't be complaining. If it was Edwards saying he would win the battle in 2010, you probably would be whining. I guess you would rather the focus of years past - speak softly and get your ass kicked.

Rich, he's staying out of trouble just like Holmes is. Merling is a backup anyways. Odrick is moving right in to take his place. I never liked the Merling signing.

I do think it was stupid what he said, and I don't think he shut down Braylon. I just think it's funny that one of our players says something, and all h%ll breaks lose. thats all. And Holmes DID get thrown off a plane a few weeks ago, After being suspended for 4 games. Dude, just turn the ipod off...... thats all you had to do!
Did you not read his post man ? It obviously doesn't matter cause Merling is just a back up and he really never liked the signing anyway. If that's the case Holmes is just the #2 wr behind Braylon sometimes and we only gave up a fifth so it's all good when/if Holmes fucks up.
