He'd better, or he may be looking for a new team next year, and the Jets may be looking for 3 new OLBs to replace him, along with Pace and Babin
I did. He only mentioned 5 CBs, not McDougle. That is why you asked if he saw McDougle getting cut. If McDougle isn't cut, that could make 7 CBs, but not necessarily. If Milliner is placed on the PUP list, he wouldn't be counted as part of the 53 players on the roster until he was activated. Hence, even if xxedge did see say Darrin Walls or Corwin Brown making the roster there would only be 5 CBs if he saw McDougle cut, or 6 if he saw McDougle making the team and just forgot to mention him. Perhaps I should have asked xxedge as well to make it clearer. I was just trying to point out that it wouldn't necessarily be 7 CBs, but was also curious who you thought the 7th CB would be if they did keep 7. Again, I could have worded it better. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh look, the new coaching staff shares my hopes: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ts-say-arrow-is-pointing-up-on-quinton-coples Well, that, or like our old coaching staff, they say great things about anybody who sucks. Was that supposed to be a motivational tactic?
Hopefully, it was a realistic projection. It should be if Coples is worth a damn at all. I guess we'll see.
Geno IS the Freddy Kruger of the team. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jordan-schultz/geno-smith_b_4373066.html
Hearing that Revis had microfracture surgery makes me concerned that he's not the same Revis that we had before. His preparation, instincts, and guile will certainly be there, but does he still have the physical tools? We haven't seen him play in our system for almost three seasons and is bound to slow down. I truly want him to lock down half the field, but now that he is a Jet.... Ugh, I hate myself for loving this team.
