Thanks. Check the post again for more info. We save a total of $17 mil. If we kick TJ out, we save 5.9 off the books. If Woody is dumped (he doesn't look sharp enough for the money he makes), we save another 4.1. This kicks the savings up to $27 mil. Then there would be some increases too, but most of the contract increases are covered up by the salary cap increase every yr (assuming there is one). Even if we pay Leon 5, Mangold 5, Harris 7, Braylon 7. We would still have about $10-12 mil left. Ferguson will make $7 mil next yr, no need to talk about that.

I think I read somewhere that if next yr is uncapped, you can not redo contracts...or something like that.

Restrictions are in place for this year. If the CBA goes away, contracts are unrestricted. In other words, following the season, anything goes. As of now, you can't sign a player to a contract that jumps more than 30 percent from this year to the next. It was in place to prevent teams from banking on that uncapped year. If Woody wanted to frontload contracts next year, he'd be more than able to. It's a dangerous position, though, if you ask me.
