I think Norwood and Mcclain are the best RFA backs out there.

McClain would be PERFECT, especially if we lose Trich. Having an all pro FB like that who can rush the ball and block, I think itll do nothing but good things for the jets offense.

Since lets be honest defenses probably never worry about us handing the ball off to Trich

why would you look at the RFA market?

They cost draft picks.... let's try UFAs since the Jets have Greene and LW returning.

Getting a good UFA is going to be incredibly difficult for the Jets.

The options are just very limited there.

I mean theres serious potential that Rex could look at McGahee if the Ravens cut him (which I totally could see them doing). And if we could get him for next to nothing that would be a great move.

But McClain is a 2x probowl FB and hes only 25. The guy is incredibly gifted, Id hate to give up a 2nd round draft pick to get him from the Ravens, but then again we would have an excellent FB for a long time if we got him.

I'd be ok with getting LdT if we loose TJ... won't be happy, won't be pissed... just ok

I'd love to have him! We'll have to see what kind of offer he'll get from the Bucs though... but in a limited role I think he could do great things for us!

Give Greene 50% of the carries, Washington 35% and Cadillac 15%... love it.

if the bucs give him any offer at all his tender will be a first rounder... so he would need to go untendered, and if that happens I have no idea if he is in play for us, or if we need to lose a player first...

    My thoughts exactly.

    Also this:

Chargers = Chokers :: LT was the most well known Charger, any correlation?

    Just an observation

Sure as a third down back. He can pick up blitz's well right? Also he wants money, and signing a back 4-5mill for being a third down-back would be a slap across Leon Washington's face. Also we could just paid TJ(sorry for bringing thomas jones up) that kind of money and he'd have a much bigger role.

i dont think LT has much in him

LT is not going to make 4-5mil in one year as a third down back. Maybe over 2 seasons.
