I wish him the best, he joins a good group of players on that defense for the cardinals, and they don't blitz as much as Rex does, if he gets safety help, he should be in for a good year.

Their style of play should keep him healthy, Go Cro.

    Hahahahahahaha

It's his fault for being loyal to an NFL team. Teams are only loyal to themselves.

    Yet he started every game.

    Wonder why.

Teams move on from older players all the time. This won't hurt the Jets future.

Wow. Very surprised they haven't signed a CB and let Cromartie go. They must think very highly of the guys on the roster. And again, for what it's worth, Darrin Walls had a much better year than Cromartie according to PFF... Hoping he seizes the opportunity.

I'd like to at least see Chris Clemons added to the secondary

if you're using "he started every game" as a reason for him to still be on this roster then you're clearly clueless

also revis was ranked the #1 CB according to PFF just because you asked

You miss hte point, as usual.

If Walls was the better player, and Cro sucked so bad, why did they start Cro over Walls?

Following the old mantra of getting rid of a player a year early as opposed to a year late I suppose

Bart Scott sucked in 2011, yet he still started 15 out of 16 games.

    Wonder why.

First of all he did not suck.

They cut him because they thought they had a better player in Davis to replace him, which btw Davis was not so great last year. But he looked better to replace Scott, who was far from an every down player, than Walls does to replace Cro.

So, you are saying the Jets are going to start Milliner and Walls, and you think that is great. Right?

Or, rather than bring back Cro, who instead will play for those total idiots in Arizona, and instead of relying on Milliner and Walls, they will use a high draft pick at Cb.

    Brilliant!

LMAO Bart Scott didn't suck in 2011? The dude can't cover and he was as slow as molasses. This discussion has nothing to do with Bart being cut that off-season, he should have been demoted in 2011 instead yet he started 15 games.

I am willing to see what Walls can do at CB #2, last time I checked the off-season still isn't over - I would gladly take Johnathan Joesph over Cro - hopefully we can swing that trade as it has been rumored.

One of my favorite Jets in recent years. Now that he will not be the top corner on the depth chart hope he improves.

How much are they paying him? Thats the real question. If he could've been had cheap, then I agree, we might have blown it.

Kind of like the Jets would have never signed Derrick Mason unless they were reasonably confident he was going to be worthwhile, and the Ravens were idiots for letting him walk.

    how'd that turn out?

I love the idea that if a team signs an aging, declining player it means they are the ones that know something the previous team does not and must be the smarter organization.

we sure were smarter than the Ravens with Derrick Mason, right?
