While I agree that our pass rush does need improving being tied for 8th in the league in sacks isn't exactly horrible. I know we need more pressure but just like Rex said there are other teams much worse off than us.

We did lead our division in sacks so with the additions to our line I think we'll see a improved pass rush no matter what.

Without a true pass rusher, other teams are going to figure out our schemes pretty quick.

Just like that past 2 years?

We had 8 more sacks last year than we did in 09. I think that's attributed to more players having a better grasp of the defense which will continue this year.

This is clearly great news for the Jets.

It's going to be really interesting to see what Tanny does once free agency starts because there are an awful lot of moving parts right now.

Hopefully having Cro back helps Kyle Wilson's development, not hurts it.

Cromartie's agent must be shaking his head..

I really like what Cromartie brought us last year and I hope he returns.

It should clarify his role on the team; if Cromartie is back Wilson is first and foremost the slot guy so maybe focussing on one job will help Kyle.

If Wilson develops as expected, with an improving Cro, and Revis injury free, we would have a sick secondary. I can dream can't I?

I was watching the opening scenes of HK a couple nights ago. I still love seeing Cro drag that big ass tire up the hill.

I've said it before - I'll say it again, and it emphasizes the sentiments of a lot of posters on this board. Wilson has the athletic ability and skills/tools/whatever, to be an absolute super star. Once he gets Ryan's system down, and learns to track the pass in the air, he is going to be very good. He has to get his head on a swivel and once he does that, watch out.

I still remember the play where he was on Bolden's heels in the opening game, and if he turned his head around he would have INT the ball. That happened more than once last season, but the Balt game stands out.

sounds like more time for press coverage.

i dunno if some people remember early in his career he had a nasty press. maybe his hip injury turned him soft?

either way hes severely underrated by alot of jets fans

gaining 13 lbs while getting to 4% body fat is an incredible feat. Not only that, but he's been posting about doing MMA training. This dude is primed for a beast of a year.
