Most of the stadium was Steeler fans. They did cheer for Martin but not like a Jet fan would. I don't know why they waited for week 10 for Martin day. It was embarassing to be there with all the Steeler fans and hardly any Jet fans. The players felt bad also.
they have extended it in the past and a guy like curtis martin is definitely deserving of that extension.
