At the time I thought that Davis was pulling his weight and that we overpaid Harris.

I also wanted us to draft Eric Kendricks from UCLA to replace Harris. Kenricks went to the Vikings with the 45th overall pick and was available when we picked in round two. He got his first start in week four and was named Defensive rookie for the month of October.

Now it seems that Harris is worth every penny and that we should let Davis walk next year. The idea of resigning Harris and drafting Kendricks anyway made sense since Davis would be a UFA even if he did play better.

In any event I was wrong and keeping Rex from stealing Harris was the right call.

I still think that David Harris is slightly overpaid but he has been better this year than the last few and I'm glad he's still on the team.

The Jets paid him as much as they did because they had no real options in FA if they let him walk. He had leverage.

Harris looks like a different player this year. I'm really glad that I was wrong in thinking that resigning him was a mistake.

I love Harris. I love that the Jets drafted him, he's awesome and he will end his career as a member of the Jets. I would love to see him lift a Lombardi. #52, Captain, Hitman and Lion of the defense. Mother fucker is a Lion tackler. Always Hunting, Happy Hunting.

"If I was a NFL linebacker, I would just watch videos of lions hunting...that's David Harris."

I'll admit I was wrong I wanted a replacement because he was getting older and I thought his play would only decline. We still need another backed D. Davis will probably be outta here

He probably also had leverage to say he'd just run away to Rex Ryan.

I did. He can't cover TE's across the middle. He has been very good on run stopping though. I am glad we resigned him. Grilled crow does taste good.

he's still overrated and we'd be best served to have someone like Sean Lee baack there. But hes been fine this year.

Time to lure one of those 9ers out of retirement.

Henderson has been a nice little pick up for us. I feel way better when he's approaching a tackle as opposed to Davis

    Crow plate alert!

I am eating mine - I like it medium [I just don't cook my poultry medium rare] with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

    =================================================================================

Jokes aside, I wanted him cheaper - Now I know what a [BOSS] he has been in the middle of the field. It was Davis fucking it up, not Harris.

true. Davis has all that speed yet can't cover OR tackle, may as well have Henderson in there. I like that dude

People just wrote him off because of his age and assumed that because he's in his 30's that he wasn't worth keeping anymore.

Lion A is attacking the prey head on. Lion B is in place to aid Lion A and getthe kill assist. That last asshole, Lion C, is coming over the mound diagonally and in no way in position to help Lion A or B. In-fact it's probably going to fly right pass the target, land crooked and roll in the dirt someplace 15 feet behind the action. The end result being Lion C having to eat the balls or something because he couldn't get the right fucking angle to make the kill assist.

That asshole Lion C is Demario Davis. The lesson here is don't be a Demario and have to eat the balls.
