Day 2

I hate comparing guys like this to established pros, but Justin Tuck anyone? Seriously, wouldn't be upset (AT ALL) if we sit at 61 and pick this guy. Pac-Ten ain't a bad conference at all. He gets to the QB quick and looks like he likes to punish people.

 

I'm officially real god damn excited. We get Wilson and this kid from Wash. (I'm not even gonna try to spell his name, lol) that's would be fucking amazing. We'd win the whole fucking thing, IMO.

 

is there anyway we trade down a couple of spots and in the 2nd round and pick up a 3rd?

 

Corey Wooton has sort of fallen off the radar. Where do you guys see him going?

 

All depends on the way the board plays out. There are only 3 picks in the 2nd round after ours, though. We'd probably move down into the 3rd and add a 4th or 5th, if anything.

I'm the biggest Burnett supporter here. I'm probably the only person on this board that would not be upset if he was our pick at 29. That said, taking 2 DBs w/ the first 2 picks when we are so thin at DE would be borderline irresponsible. We won't be able to take advantage of our suddenly great CB depth if we can't force teams into must pass situations. K-Dub can't line up at DE to stop the run on 1st and 10.

 

Sad thing is that we'd send 8 and still not get to the QB. Conversely, now they will have even more time to get there with the additions of Cro and K-Dub.
