No, form your own opinion. And the FACT is D'Brickashaw had given up 1 sack to elite pass rushers prior to yesterday. And yesterday, Schobel dominated him, he played a great game while D'Brickashaw had the worst game as a rookie in December. He's lived up to the #4 overall pick. I don't need ESPN telling me or showing me stuff that I can see for myself. If ESPN was always right, then Ryan Leaf would be the NFL's best QB.
What? What does Herman have anything to do with this? The argument was D'Brickashaw. This has absolutely nothing to do with Herman.
If you do not know they depart your computer immediately go to a corner, sut in the corner & just think about it & I am sure you will come up finally with the correct answer to your question
What i'm saying is their is no point in bringing up Herman, at all. You throw out your ESPN junk on D'Brickashaw, the topic of this thread. So stay on D'Brick, that's the "debate" if their is any debate at all, which their isn't. Stick with the argument, form your own opinion, you can do it.
No cause you guys fall in love with players not realizing they are just 1 of 52 on a TEAM & you become totally irrational over it. I DID NOT make the report I ONLY reported it. I told you all that did not hear contact ESPN & obtain a copy. Then we all will be on level ground. To me what occurred yesterday & having heard the ESPN report & then also hearing Solomon yesterday backing up that ESPN report gives me bad vibes that we may have erred in drafting him. Look I am NYJ fan just like you & I want every NYJ player to succeed so we can win a SB so we are on the same side if you would just look at him based on what he did last week. Now that Bflo IDed his warts which are now on tape I feel very sorry for him as he will have a much more difficult time of it in the future then the past.
So you are telling me everyone was asleep except you when this supposed report aired? I watched both days of the draft from start to finish. The ONLY report I saw was a video analysis of him having difficulty in run blocking. I have yet to find one draft analysis or report that said he would have difficulty with pass protection and speed rushers, ONLY run blocking. But when you first said this many months ago, I thought I missed something. So I scoured the net. I searched everywhere on ESPN, I posted on many NFL and Jets forums, and looked at a dozen scouting reports to see if I could find this supposed report from ESPN. I have yet to find one other person who saw this report and analysis. I could find not a single blurb about it ANYWHERE. So the rest of the world, I guess even the people who gave the report on ESPN, were all asleep when you saw this report? I don't know, that sounds like the very definition of insanity to me.
I not telling you ANYTHING but to contact ESPN & snag a copy from them so that instead of you getting POed we will both be on a level playing field
Not my job to back up or prove your arguments. It is YOUR responsibilty to back up your own statements. Contact ESPN, post a link, find a transcript yourself. If you can't then me and others will keep calling bullshit.
Sorry it was your job to hear the report just like I did. If it interests you so then it is up to you to get it from ESPN. I heard it so I no longer need it right?
I just contacted ESPN, they said Champ is crazy & no such tape exists & noone in there right mind would say that DBricks weakness coming out of college would be speed rushers..
nope but i do remember them saying he can be beat on double moves. as he was beat a couple times at the senior bowl. but his main weakness was run blocking and mean streak/toughness. but none of this matter cause yesterday i saw d brick fly. put it anyway u want schobel (maybe the only De in the nfl that we play this can say it) owned d brick. and i dont even know who denny is but he abused clements on the other side.
Gallery has been closer to Mandarich whereas D'Brick has been closer to Anthony Munoz ! D'Brick isn't there yet by a longshot, but at least he's been a good tackle. Gallery has BUST written all over him (though I wonder how much is the Oakland atmosphere).
