OBJ hates Baker who has sucked but played better than the Jets QBs the past three years. What makes anyone think he'd be content coming here? Teams that put claims in probably have a good idea as to whether he's going to be a dickhead there or not.
When I look at our troubles the first thing that pops up is how much we need a malcontent diva on our roster.
There is zero chance that Odell sticks with a bad team before Antonio Browning his way out of town to go play with his QB of choice. The Packers seem to make the most sense but the Colts would also be reasonable as would the Saints despite their QB woes.
I don't think it's so far fetched. Giants are starved for receiver talent right now. Why not bring him back to where he's had success before, and where he'd probably get a warm reception from the fans?
I know he isn't. Poeman's a good poster. I'm just really surprised and shocked that he even considered it. I know this team has driven us all nuts, but there has to be some point at which we stop and say enough is enough. We can't bring more craziness aboard.
It would be just like Santonio Holmes being here to totally screw up a offensive game plan finally finding itself, These guys who get instant success just never understand their is no guarantee it will continue, when it doesent you can’t throw a fit, look at how Tomlin dumped Holmes for a 5th round pick, he knew he was going to be a constant headache.
The good news is the Jets don't need OBJ. At all. They have Davis, Moore, Crowder, Cole, Mims, Berrios, and Smith. I actually prefer all of those guys to OBJ.
