i think the pro-bowl should be played the week BEFORE the super bowl. here here. pro bowl selections who ARE playing in the big game get a pass. this opens the door for 6 or 7 'alternates' to get onto the sceen, plus offers a HUGE hype platform for the SB, plus gives fans of the other 30 teams reason to stay tuned.
Eh, sometimes I tune in only because it's the last time I'll see 'pro football' until the pre-season rolls around. I probably would watch it later if I was going to be home for that very reason.
