    Because they were in suck for Luck mode during their 0-7 start and then they climbed into mediocrity. The Owner clearly wanted to tank the season and when that went out the window so did Sparano.

    I'm with ya here. He was abrasive and distant, if not down right an asshole, to his players, but he got the team here and in cleveland rolling. The browns wnet on a streak before he was let go after the season and we played well here before the Farve injury.

    If Mangini can learn to tone it down a little it would go a long way for him. If he is capable of learning from past mistakes he could still be a excelent coach in the NFL because its obvious he has the work ethic and knowledge to lay a good foundation for his clubs.

    They can have Schottenheimer. I'd like Mangini on our staff as an assistant, his input against Belichick would be useful as we'll be competing with NE until Brady retires.

    I'd love for them to hire some retread piece of shit like Mike Tice LOL
