This doesn't mean shit. You know what does? Everything he's done in regular season games so far in his career. Get over it, he's not the guy. We already had a QB who only completed short passes, and he was better than Sanchez.
Eh, it's preseason and they're rotating a lot of new guys at WR. I think Eli's pick was a miscommunication. It could have been him reading the sight-reaction by the wideout wrong (the Giants' offense uses these heavily) or it could have been the wrong route by the WR. Sanchez pick was not a great decision on his part, but I honestly think it was more of a great play by the DB than anything else. Hosley read the route, undercut Turner at the right time, and showed great hand strength at the point of the catch; I actually think Turner's hands made contact with that ball while Hosley took it away. It wasn't a great play by Sanchez, but it wasn't terrible. Credit the DB for making a play and move on.
Nobody can give up on Sanchez. He's your best QB. Also, doesn't help that you don't have much weapons on offense for him. You can't sit there and blame Sanchez for problems that aren't entirely in his control.
I don't buy that. How can Brady, Rodgers, Brees, and both Mannings make normal guys look great. A great QB can make a no name guy a household name.
Kinda expect sloth to live in the heart of sanchez- sanchez is weak and wounded. He never portrays anything more. Rarely gives more. Hell, even the weak and wounded rise to the occassion when backed into a corner. But, sanchez has no sense of urgency. No ability to sense urgency. Its the pre-season, so i'm not going on what i've seen the last couple games. Sanchez has no heart. he strains to fake it, but it's obvious he has no ability. So, yes.... Sanchez is the problem. He has no heart and no ability. Didn't have to watch a moment of pre-season to know as much.
How do the top 5 QB's in the league do that? Keep on going down the list of QB's and you see, oh man the rest of QB's have help. In fact in most of the Super Bowls won by the QB's above, their defenses played better than the QB's in the SB. Just saying. The next crop of QBs in your list Big Ben, Rivers, Romo, Vick, Cutler, etc have great talent. Big Ben has more on the defensive side than offense, Rivers has had LT, Gates, and Jackson, Sproles on his team. Romo has Dez and Miles plus all those running backs and Witten. Cutler had Marshall and has Marshall again.
