Double Standard for Pats Again

    I'm thinking it's more of a surprise to you, a 40 year Pats fan, because you are a little biased. :)

    I'm a little biased as well on the other end. But I'll just say that after a decade of watching your QB and coach chastise the referee after virtually every incomplete 3rd down pass, or every time the QB is hit, I did NOT find the statistic surprising at all.

    I'm thinking the high penalty numbers have a little more to do with that then because they throw the ball so much or so "successfully"

    Math is not my strong suit, I'll admit, lol...

    But I don't know, it seems pretty relevant. To use the numbers I provided last post, about 11% of NE's first downs have been on penalties. Tampa's rounds up to 13%. Buffalo's rounds down to 14%.
