Who cares? The SAD part of this whole thing is that WE didn't get the job done, and THEY are gonna go to the super bowl. I have a bad feeling about this shit. I'm sick of listening to those faggot fucking front running "fans."
I haven't paid attention. Being in the south it's been easy to stay away from it all. Obviously, if the Jets were present I would be plugged in. I'll look forward to the NY Times sending me a text message with who wins the Championship games. That's about as far as I will go. I have nothing against the Giants though. Except when they play the Jets of course. It is cool though that a New York team has now gone to the Championship game three years in a row. Hopefully our guys can make it four next year.
Dude, they're all the way out in san francisco. I don't give a shit how annoying sf are cuz i don't have to deal with them every day like the goddamn giants fans.
Didn't seem to be crazy hype in '09. That was probably due to nobody expecting the Jets to get as far as they did, and nobody really buying that they were going to beat Indy in the AFC title game. Last year though, it felt like JETS-Mania. Definitely a TON of hype and coverage.
No we didnt get much hype I felt. Last year everyone was hyping up the Bears-Packers rivalry. Whatever. Their was lots of hype for 09 tho, the city got on our back a lot more. They renamed Times Square, Revis Island I believe. The mayor did that...
Agreed. '09 no one really believed in us, so I felt like we didn't get much coverage. 2010 it was bonanza I thought. After beating Manning, I remember everyday going to work reading the 10-15 pages they had on the Jets/Pats game. When I got home it was all over TV, with the focus being how we could overcome the 45-3 beatdown.
Does it seem like there are many more "casual" Giant fans who don't really know football, but think they do
when warranted we do get the exposure and hype , but no Respect! Iv actually sat at home with an opposing teams fan and I asked him to listen to the manner in which the broadcaster's spoke about the Jets during the game and pretty much all of the commentating was of a negative nature unless the Jets made a play. I also noticed during our two years of success if you caught any football type commercial with the jets in it ; it was usually a Jets player being burned or a positive play against the Jets. May be its just me , but I feel until we win the big one we will never get respect or consideration as a good team.
jets were indeed getting maybe even more hype with rex's big mouth. even before this season began the jets were still being over hyped and till the season ending three game losing streak. so yes, jealous would be the word you're looking for.
It's funny how people call the Giants the classier team in NY when everyone knows they're just a bunch of classless douchbags
