Was it really necessary to revive a year old thread for this?

That was on Lowery, no 21. Revis Christ has just allowed one TD this whole season.

    Yea, it was.

Was it really necessary for you to post in this revived year old thread? No, not at all.

Oh yea, you're right - I just watched the replay.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll edit the main post.

    No prob.

I just hate the fact that Sheppard hasn't panned out due to the fact that he has been injured almost the whole season thus far. Luckily Loery has done a solid job opposite Revis.

To be fair, Lowery sucked last week.

TO be really fair, our DB's looked great when we actually got pressure on the QB in the first 4 to 5 weeks. Now without any pressure they look awful at times.

Agreed that Rhodes is all talent and no effort at this point. He and Soaphands are quite the two some in that respect.

The Bigest thing I've noticed is that our scheme's are creating no pressure at all. I'm not sure if its execution or play calling, but the QB has plenty of time to throw.

As a rule of thumb defensive secondary play is nearly always depenedent on atleast some pressure, you give a pro QB 5-6 seconds and he will find an open receiver. you don't have to sack a QB, or even hit him, but you have to be in the backfield to get the QB to move the ball rather than give them huge amounts of time to wait for someone to get open. You give a pro QB 5-6 seconds and unles you have the leagues top DB at each slot someone's gonna get open...and even if you do have 4 elite DB's if you can't get pressure a pro reciever will get open eventually.

meh - this guy has gone from suck to slightly above average. He's still a bit raw, but the ceiling doesn't seem to far away IMO. Hopefully he's not hurt too bad.
