I feel bad for this guy, but I also feel bad for Jets fans that we're being trolled by the fan of a team that hasn't won a game yet this season. Sad days indeed.
If the Jets lose tomorrow, people will be screaming from the rooftops to FIRE Todd Bowles. Toilet Bowles has already done a piss poor job this season, losing to a winless Browns team would be the icing on the cake for anyone questioning him currently.....
I can actually see Fitz throwing 3 picks tomorrow. But then, I can always see Fitz throwing 3 picks. If he does and we get no TOs we lose.
I think people would lean more towards getting on to 2017 than getting pissed at Bowles. The fanbase is already mad at Bowles and if we lose to an 0-7 team, it should become obvious to our esteemed FO/CS that its time to move on from Fitz and 2016. That's where the anger will come from if the Leadership continues to pretend that 2016 still matters.
I cannot possibly fathom the fan base NOT blaming Bowles if we lose to the Browns. Coming into this season, the vast majority of Jets fans thought this team was destined for the playoffs. Most were predicting 10, 11 wins? At least that is what I was seeing. I never believed it. My prediction was 5 or 6 wins with Fitz and 4 or less with Geno. But the fan base was very confident in thinking differently. It would be bad enough that the fan base is being slapped in the face with reality. That reality is that the Jets are not anywhere near what most fans thought they were. But losing to a winless Browns team is something far different. It would show all of the fans that their team sometimes cannot beat the very worst teams in the league. That will be too much for the fans to tolerate. They will start blaming Bowles and really they probably think it already....
I'm not one of the people who thought they'd make the playoffs, I predicted 6 wins, but even I find you to be a completely annoying dweeb.
As I've said before, bragging about your predictions only works if you let people know about those predictions before the season started.
