I'm pretty sure some teams have left blue prints for stopping/slowing Mr. Jones. It may not all be on Skrine.
Jets win this one. Atlanta on back to back road games. Think this is the week they try and force the ball to JJ after getting nearly blanked last Sunday vs New England.
Falcons are a mess,,,that said they are just better than us and need this game,,,,,,I don't know who will cover Coleman or Freeman out of the backfield ? Their TE Hopper has been invisible the past few games but he will have a sighting or 3,,Julio Jones is Julio Jones ,,ps I think FALCS coach is BAD but we can match that with what we have on our sideline and I think the Falcons D is better than advertised. we will see come Sunday
Lee has to be able to cover a back out of the backfield. Coleman and Freeman are so explosive - I don't understand how ATLs new OC doesn't utilize them more. Shanahan had that team firing on all cylinders.
Matty Ice hasn't been very good under pressure this year where he was the best QB under pressure last year. The Jets are second to last in sacks, only Tampa has fewer sacks. With the Jets unable to get pressure I think Atlanta shreds the Jets for 350yds passing or so and easily wins the game.
Exactly. I had high hopes that this Jets squad would come out mad after the way the Pats game went down and it would motivate them all season. Instead, it motivated them for a half.
Yup. That's why we have a great chance. Eliminate the penalties and the fourth quarter woes and we should dominate this game, as we did in Miami for 45 minutes.
Unless Matt Moore gets traded to the falcons for 3 first round picks, after Matty ice throws his back out trying to tie his cleats for practice. I Can't belive they have been hiding the GOAT behind Tannehill all this time
I'll be honest: The Dolphins game WIPED OUT all hope and excitement I had for the season. I never believed in tanking and still don't, but I also am realistic and the Jets just are not good enough. They could beat the Falcons, but I don't see it happening. I'm done with McCown too. Would rather never see him start another game for the Jets, but I know that is not happening. Give Petty or Hackenberg a chance. Atlanta has play makers and I bet they all step up this week. Good luck to the Jets though. I hope they find a way to win.
Claiborne was likely going to draw the assignment of Julio for the game. And plus Skrine likely is out due to a concussion so it looks like Roberts and Burris will get some burn. Skrine mind you was getting ALL the snaps at corner alongside Claiborne for most of these games. And yes he had a bad game last week but he’s been solid for the year. So be careful what you wish for....
Our CB depth is going to be really tested this week with Skrine in protocol. I could see Atlanta putting up 40
Woohooo! I won tickets to the game and was hoping the rain held off. Now it looks like It'll be a shit show.
