These last few posts were meant as humor, dude.
Its Sunday morning, chill out a little.

Post a comment of your own -- other than cutting & pasting what we can all read for ourselves anyway.
    Then maybe we'll judge yours.

Exactly right!! I don't have knowledge of the Saint's players coming up for FA, but it is a risk that the Saints are taking. I'm certain the Saints don't want to lose a 2nd Rd in 09 and a 1st Rd in 2010. Vilma needs to stay healthy and play well.

But they will(or at least should) sign him to a franchise 1 year deal which means we wont get anything big back. Just a 3rd round pick back, which leads me to my next point

I know we give up the 4th if we get NO's 2nd but if we were to say only get their 3rd, do we still give up our 4th? Because I'd rather get a low 3rd round pick(Seems Like NO has their division) and our 4th(Who knows where we rank) instead of a low(Again I think NO does well) 2nd round pick. I dont know, we'd have an extra shot to snatch a player or at least have some trade chips to work with(We love to deal....)

NYJ 1st, NYJ 2nd, NYJ 3rd, NO 3rd, NYJ 4th, WSH 4th. Fine with me.

    Co-sign

Plus he is the Cover LB with his speed, there is no way they can keep Vilma of the field if he is healthy.

the saints can resign vilma to a long term deal, they just have to wait till AFTER this season, when he is on the open market during FA. So they will not limit him purposely to 85%. They will just wait to resign him. Then they keep the second to give to the Giants and give the JETS the 3rd.
