They need better lobbies is what they need. Breast Cancer Awareness has earned it's place by putting in tremendous amounts of time and effort into bringing their disease to the forefront. Not saying other cancers or diseases are less deserving, but BC has been the squeakiest wheel. Speaking from experience. _
Yes, I believe breast cancer is the most common type of cancer, so it makes sense. I feel that they could really use the success of the BC campaign to jump start the band wagon for the lesser known types of cancer out there. If the lobbyists don't see this, then it may just be because there aren't as many squeaks as you say. The NFL shouldn't need lobby for that stuff, though. It's for a great cause and if Goodell can do it for one type of cancer, he can do it for all types, it's just a matter of putting the information out there.
Not football pet peeves but sports viewing. The same fucking commercial over and over and over again. Within minutes. At the end of each inning. Between each TV timeout. At the end of every quarter/half. The Direct TV/AT&T guy yelling at us. That douchebag Doogie Howser saying what he literally wouldn't do with a bottle of Heineken. The jerkoff guy with the trim looking beard, hoodie and a fake football asking why we haven't tried weekly fantasy football yet. Those fucking IBM Watson commercials. Die. _
It's even worse with Sunday ticket. They play the same commercials in practically the same order for every game.
It drives me fucking crazy. I once called CBS during a Sunday football game to complain about the 50th time they showed a Chevy commercial with that idiotic John Cougar song. True story. _
