    Never thought about that, but i have heaqrd rumblings that people might look into the way we are handling Abe's situation.

    I don't think the Jets have anything to worry about. If they franchised him, and then contacted teams regarding a trade, then Abe would have a case.

    I think teams know he's not happy here, and know they have a shot at grabbing a game changing player that can take them to the next level.

    EX:

    Denver: May have been in the superbowl this season if they had a speed rusher of Abe's caliber.

    Atlanta: Add Abe to that defense, they probably make the playoffs this past season.

    Detroit: The addition of Abe (along with a few other pieces) may be enough to save Millen's job for the time being.

    I was making a joke. I like the moves the Jets have made. We just need time to see how it all works out.:)

    Has anyone heard other news about Kokinis, the Pro Personnel Director from Baltimore? Word has it that he is due to join our front office following the draft.

    Apparently, he and Mangini have ties going back to their early years in Connecticut.
