Giants corners suck they just have the benefit of a great pass rush. Revis and Cro have 0 pass rush and still do a better job so what does that tell you.

Pass Rushing is the only thing holding the D together though, the thing I don't like about their line is they will flat out not play for weeks at a time.

If they were committed like say the Colts Dline, they wouldn't have soooo many let downs during the season.

Well the Colts D spends alot of time on the Field because of Peyton, he scores often, can't blame the D.

I agree with the overrated part but expand it to both teams. Both teams are being looked at as Super Bowl contenders by the Star-Ledger and they've been doing so for sometime. The Giants need to be healthy & more consistent and the Jets need to stay healthy & find an offense if that's going to happen.

Thomas is having a very good season as well. Thomas & Webster are a very good starting CB duo, they are physical, jam well, tackle well, can play the ball in the air, have good size, and have the hands to make INTs. Their one weakness is that they both lack elite speed. This doesn't bode well when you play the speedy offenses of the Cowboys and Eagles. Thankfully, the Giants also have great safety play to help make up for that.

They're not as good as Revis and Cromartie, but they don't suck. Webster had an amazing 2008 season (actually on par with Revis AT THAT TIME) but regressed last year due to Bill Sheridan and injuries. This year he's been playing some good ball.

Thomas had his breakout year last year and is playing well this year too. They aren't the athletes that Revis and Cromartie are (though I think Revis is more of a strong & technical corner than he is an athletically gifted corner) but they are physical and play well.

What you're saying would be like me saying the Jets safeties suck because the Giants have better ones. It creates a false dichotomy and, frankly, is ignorant and inaccurate.

I agree you have to compare the front 7s to be accurate, but that's where our agreement ends. The Giants have better DTs because they have more depth here and are better at collapsing the pocket and blocking passing lanes. Canty is having a strong season and Cofield is having a VERY good season. The Jets DTs do what they need to do; they hold their ground and occupy blockers so the stellar LB group can make plays.

The Jets do have better LBs, but it's pretty damn stupid to say that there isn't an LB on the Giants that would make the Jets's roster. Boley is a very good cover LB and is also a strong pass-rusher. Clint Sintim is having trouble fitting in to the Giants LB rotation because he's a converted DE; he would be PERFECT for the Jets OLB spot.

You're just wrong in saying that Webster and Thomas can't play man, Fewell blitzes a lot and leaves them in man press coverage frequently. Ross is athletic enough to do both zone and man, but his technique is rough. The Jets have more talent at CB, but I like the Giants depth more.

The safeties had one bad game against Dallas, they hardly let up too many big plays. Hell, the following week they did a damn good job keeping the Eagles explosive offense in check. The Giants have better safeties than the Jets & Fewell plays to this often by putting 3 of them on the field.

Overall I would say the Jets D is better against the run, but the Giants D can get after the QB better. I think the Giants can handle spread attacks better than the Jets due to their superior DB depth, but the Jets can handle those elite QB-WR combinations better due to Revis.

C'mon, man. I'm sure you have a number of legitimate reasons for disliking the Giants, but that doesn't mean that they suck by default.

There would be nothing to make fun of w/ me but either way you are acting like a child.

It's like I'm an adult or something. I can attack her flawed argument w/o resorting to childish name calling as if that has anything to do w/ her opinion. It's embarrassing that adults think this way.

It is fun but is making fun of this lady really funny? I cringe w/ embarrassment for you guys.

nah, we should all use that hysterically funny avatar you have! You guys are about as funny as you are knowledgeable about football.
