If she made a coherent argument and knew what she was talking about no one would even mention it. Problem is that the article is terrible. Is it politically correct or nice? No.. But it's an anonymous (for the most part) message board. It's not like I walked up to her and told her to go fuck herself.

Manish Mehta gets the praise of a God here because he writes compelling, factual articles related to the jets. I'm sure if he was terrible people would say he should be eating curry and writing about cricket. Again, this is racist and definitely not politically correct but that's the nature of an insult. People, at least me personally, don't really mean the things we say.. It's just reactionary and exaggerated.

If I met this lady in person I would be nothing but respectful. I'm not going to hate her because of her article about the jets defense. Same thing with Tom Brady. People here say things like he should kill himself and that he sucks dick but it doesnt mean they will go to his house and shoot him while he fellates a cucumber.

If you think Rhodes is better than Rolle I really don't know what to say to you. Rhodes is far more limited in his range, versatility, and athletic ability. He's much prettier though; maybe Arizona needed to meet their pretty-boy quotient after Matt Leinart left.

The Giants supposed interest in Dansby was more media speculation than anything else; everyone knew we needed an LB and he was a "hot" LB on the market. People paying attention realized that the Giants had shown interest in him 2 years ago (when he was first franchised) but not since then as he's gotten a bit older. Boley was benched in Atlanta when they changed defensive schemes. He's been a strong player on the Giants this season (with a real DC at the helm) and this includes his play in the running game. Either we have to agree to disagree or your standards are a hell of a lot higher than mine.

Phillips makes strong plays on the ball (including a TD saving pass defense on Sims-Walker just this last week) and also brings it in the running game. He clocked MJD 3X and put a nice lick on his backup as well. He's a good safety (top half of the starters in the league) and is still improving. I really don't see what you don't like about him.

I would say Webster is more than a "bit better" than Coleman. Their play may be somewhat similar in that they are both physical, but Webster is a better technician and plays the ball in the air better.

rhodes is far from limited. his only issue was that he was a "soft" player which is why the jets traded him. he doesn't play the run well and has that dieon sanders tackling mentality lol. with that said as a pass coverage safety who is gonna just patrol the field and make plays i'd take rhodes as a top 5 in the game. i'm one of the few jet fans that still like him, but rhodes was great as a zone cover guy and covered some great TEs like gates and gonzales very good for us.

as far as dansby it wasn't speculation cause they brought him in for a visit. they didn't like his price tag so didn't go all out for him.

once again boley, i just rewatched the jags giants on NFL replay earlier today. boley was again horrible. he lost outside contact on alot of runs as MJD and the jags gashed the giants D for 200+ yards. he's good in pass coverage on RBs and covers alot of ground playing zones but thats about it. he's horrible in run support. teams that tried to run against the giants had huge success. the reason their run D is rated high was they were in some blowout where teams abaonded the run to try and catch up.

and finally phillips. like i said he is a solid guy and yeah i'll say he is top 15 for FSs (out of 32 teams) which makes him like i said, solid but not spectacular

and as far as webster and coleman goes. coleman is great technically plays the ball well and is an ok player but he is too small and slow. webster is a slighty better slighty more athletic version of coleman

    Agree to disagree, I guess.

And if you're going to blast Boley for a bad 1st half (which he completely deserves) you have to give him credit for his strong play in the second half. He was VERY strong against the run after being out of position a LOT during the 1st half.

he was horrible all game. I'm not even bashing the guy for play here and there. I'm bashing him for almost 2 years of horrible play against the run. If the giants had any depth at LBer they would have benched him by now. they guy doesn't deserve to be starting The giants should draft LB in the 1st and 2nd round and hope they become immediate starters to take over for bullock and goff and then hope sintim can take over for boley
