Is there any proof whatsoever that vilmatic is a Mets fan?

wait - that mets fan thing was directed at me?!?! Yo - all I was saying is that sliding is not hard - I can do it and nobody ever taught me.

 

Honestly, I played baseball my entire young life and I never learned how to slide. I basically just dropped whenever I was supposed to slide. It was always good for a laugh from my teammates. Fortunately I was fast so sliding was usually not necessary. But I never learned how to slide. I still can't do it.

 

I think they should have brought in Tiger to teach him how to slide.
