Remember all you want... I don't know why what happened 36 yrs ago should make me bitter. It has no influence on the 2006 season, which is all I am concerned about now. I'm still thinking of 2005, but only in the sense of how do we improve in 2006. The pain of finishing 4-12 is gone.

If you keep thinking about the past in sports, you have no chance of success. Think of failure, and you'll be destined to fail.

H;mm I though os success for so many years from 01/12/69 for us & look what happen. Usually the past shapes the future as they say history has a very nasty habit of repeating itself.

I find Mike & Mike by far the easiest local sports talk guys to listen to. I disagree completely that Greenberg is a moron - just because he doesn't know the ins and outs of the NFL like Golic doesn't make him clueless. Actually, it's Golic who often knows little about things other than football, but he's willing to admit it, unlike most of the clowns at FAN, or Michael Kay.

It has nothing to do with what's going on with the 2006 Jets. I don't believe in the curse BS. There isn't a single person in a decision making position that is the same as they were in 1970. Because of that, what happened in 1970 just doesn't matter. The NFL is an entirely different place.

You just need to stop playing devils advocate to every post on this board.

Greenie is the man, he is funny, honest, and wears his heart as a Jets fan on his sleeve.

I completely agree, I think Mike and Mike is the best sports talk radio show on the air. They have great chemistry, I find them very humorous, and I dont always agree with them, but I do agree more than not. Grennie is what he is, he is a fan, and you can not fault him for whatever he says in that regard. He like the rest of us on here, just wants the team to win.

That is what jets in 2004 cannot catch that Greeny wants to win like most of us jets in 2004 excluded I guess

How in the world do you take what I said as I do not want to win? That makes no sense. You just try to cause trouble man. Stop now.

Cause you should not have objected to Greeny's approval with the sender of the Email he read since at this moment Woody, Bradway & our OL has produced zero which I am sure you are aware of

I disapproval of Greenberg. Sorry, but I can't stand that guy. I never stated whether I prove or disapprove with the sender of anything.

Whether I approve or not also has no bearing on whether or not I want the team to win. Obviously, we all want to win.

Believe it or not, but it's possible to disagree with you and still want to win.

Thanks I know from your posts that you are more/less in agreement with my views. What gets me angry is someone like jets in 2004 protrays himself as such a smart FB guy but could not see thru Herm or Bradway but then goes out & raps Greeny without even knowing what the guy knows or does not know. For sure you have to give Greeny the edge as he privy to far more info then jets in 2004 is working for ESPN speaking daily with Mort & Clayton

I love when champ clings to someone who happens to share his negative outlook....like it somehow validates his own opinions

I respect Greeny's thoughts, but they're only his opinions, and just because he's a radio show host, it does not make his opinions fact.....simple as that

You were another one that was waving the Herm was the greatest flag in which you were totally incorrect so why should anyone respect your knowledge of FB?

The man had enough brass to go on a live show in Pittsburgh in front of 100 Steeler fans the week before the Jets-Steelers play-off game and where a Pennington jersey. He's one of the greatest Jets fans alive!!!

I never waved that flag. I did like Bradway though, I will admit that. Did I think he was great? No, but I did think he was decent, middle of the pack. Tannenbaum could be better, he could be worse. One thing people forget. HE WAS INVOLVED IN THE DECISIONS ALREADY.

no sir....not the case at all, Herm had his positives and negatives....I just chose not to blame Herm and Co for everything that happened on the field....it's sort of a personality difference there champ....you see I tend to pull the positives of the situation. Like now, we have a completely new regime, which was sorely needed....and I'm optimistic it will be for the good for the organization.......whereas you, who can't spew your venom at Herm and Bradway anymore, have to choose the owner or whomever else to let you continue your miserable negative interest in the Jets organizartion as a whole.
